Science Journal of Public Health (SJPH) , a peer-reviewed open access journal published bimonthly in English-language, provides a international forum for the presentation of research findings and scholarly exchange in the area of health and related fields. The journal has a special focus on the social determinants of health, the environmental, behavioral, epidemiology, health services research, nursing, social work, medicine, and occupational correlates of health and disease, and the impact of health policies, practices and interventions on the community. HIFA profile: Eben Afari-Kumah is a PhD candidate at the Accra Institute of Technology, Ghana. He is also a Research Scientist with the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research, Ghana, and an adjunct Lecturer at the University of Ghana (School of Public Health and Business School). His Master’s Dissertation was on “Developing patient data mining system for the University of Ghana Hospital.
