CHW Performance LIteraure Review

We have recently posted a feature on CHW Central: Improving the performance of CHW: What can we learn from the literature?

http://www.chwcentral.org/blog/improving-performance-community-health-workers-what-can-be-learned-literature

It looks at the contextual factors that affect CHW performance and how intervention design and the health system factors can impact performance.  The review conducted by Maryse Kok et al at KIT describes her findings and how the research can be applied at local levels.  There is a video presentation plus a written summary and a connection to the full document.  As you think through how to support CHWs, this may provide some evidence to assist you in that process.
